Fatima Dike’s first play, The Sacrifice of Kreli premiered at the Space Theatre in July 1976. In 1979, she received her first award, The Papillion Rising Star Award. Since then, she has written ten plays and has received numerous awards at home and abroad – most recently the Living Legend Award at the National Black Theatre Festival.
